What To Bring?
- Temporary Instruction permit issued by the Michigan Secretary of State, at least 30 days before
the test or with a waiver of 30 days on permit. - Photo ID, Passport, school ID, work ID
- Level One License from Michigan Secretary of State, issued a minimum of 6 months before the
date of the road test. - Segment Two Certificate
- Log of hours practiced – at least 50 hours total, including 10 hours at night or through the mobile
app Road Ready - Photo ID, Passport, school ID, work ID
- Parent/guardian with a valid ID or drivers license.
- Bring a valid registration
- Bring Current Proof of Insurance
- Safety inspection (Examiners and applicants will inspect and familiarize themselves with specific
vehicle components. Certain defective vehicle equipment is reason for refusal of the driving skills
test if it jeopardizes the safety of the vehicle’s occupants) - we have cars available for rent at a cost of $25.00
